EventMB states in its “5 Trends In Virtual Reality For Events” article that VR has already become mainstream at high-budget events, that “it enables remote spectators to experience the event not only as if they were there themselves, but closer to the action than ever before”, and that it is a certain future of the event industry.
With re:virtual, that future is now.
With our own re:virtual platform, run.events will offer a vision of the future, along with the technological means to achieve that vision: exhibition halls, expo booths and theatres in virtual reality will be “one click away”, available and affordable for everyone, making metaverse events and hybrid events a viable and affordable way to expand the customer base and to be prepared for the future direction of the industry.
Event organizers will be able to create virtual expo halls in the metaverse
They will be offered a number of preconfigured expo halls, with options to edit, rebrand and change the layout of existing ones, or create completely new ones. We will work with the major venues in Europe and across the world to digitalize their expos and incorporate them into the run.events offer. That way, it will be possible to create stunning hybrid events with an unparalleled mix of in-person and metaverse experiences.
Sponsors and exhibitors will be able to fully configure their booths in the metaverse.
Event organizers will offer to sponsors and exhibitors multiple preconfigured standard booths, which they will be able to pick, modify and brand. Branding will include complete branding of booth visuals and materials, as well as configuring of videos, downloads, etc.
Once sponsors and exhibitors have configured their booths, those changes will be automatically applied to the expo plan, which will enable event organizers to create stunning 3D expo plans and models.
Delegates will be able to visit and attend sessions in the metaverse
Attending a session in a virtual theatre, along with other attendees, offers a much more familiar experience than watching that same session via digital video tools such as Zoom, Teams, Webex, etc. In the same way, panels and interviews are more interactive and more realistic in the metaverse than when using digital video tools.
ALSO IMPORTANT – re:virtual is fully functional with your computer (Windows, Mac OS) or a mobile device, such as tablet (iOS, Android). You don’t need VR glasses to fully enjoy and use re:virtual.
But, VR glasses are fun. They really are.
All attendees will be able to meet, socialize, expand their network, and do business
Lack of networking and doing business were some of the major drawbacks of digital events to have emerged from the pandemic. Events were reduced to online learning platforms, and were basically indistinguishable from YouTube channels or online learning platforms. This is where re:virtual helps: events in the metaverse enable all attendees – delegates, sponsors & exhibitors, speakers, organizers – to meet on the booths or hallways, to attend sessions together, to talk, to expand their network, and yes, to do business. EventMB states in its “5 Trends In Virtual Reality For Events” article that VR has already become mainstream at high-budget events, that “it enables remote spectators to experience the event not only as if they were there themselves, but closer to the action than ever before”, and that it is a certain future of the event industry (nubel.us/eventvr).
