Badges

Printing event badges

Event badges are one of the most creative but stressful parts of event organization. How should they look? Should we print them in advance, at the registration desk during the event, or a combination of both methods? Should the badges be completely printed, or will thermal printers be used to print stickers placed later on the pre-printed badges? run.events enables event organizers to organize themselves in a way that suits them the best. Everything starts with the badge design: organizers can use one of the predefined designs, start from a blank design, or upload a design created in a professional design tool. Furthermore, event organizers can create different templates for different ticket types, so attendees, organizers, speakers, and sponsors can have different-looking event badges. Once satisfied with the badge design, you can export it to a professional print shop or on-site printing during registration.

Global Checkin

Event Check-Ins

Event Organizers can use run.events mobile app to organize and perform event registrations). By scanning the attendee's badge or ticket (regardless of whether printed, in the mobile app, or the wallet), organizers will check its validity and admit (or not) the attendee to the event. run.events app will recognize double registrations and fraud attempts by forming an organizer that something isn't right with the ticket. Each check-in (or check-in attempt) is registered and can be easily reviewed later in the check-in log.

Session Check In

Session Check-Ins

Event organizers often want to know which attendees have attended which sessions. There are two ways to achieve this: organizers can have their personnel positioned at the session room doors, scanning the badges of attendees who enter the session, or organizers can enable self-check-in, where room QR codes are displayed in front of each session room, enabling attendees to do self-check-ins. Of course, this approach requires less effort and is supported by run.events, but it fully depends on attendees' willingness to self-check-in. It can be increased by enabling run.events gamification features, which would reward every session self-check-in.
