Badges And Registration

Badge printing and registration desk management

With run.events, you can design and print event badges for all attendees with valid tickets. You can set up a registration desk and use its mobile app for general events and session check-in.
Badges Small

Badge design

With run.events, badge design is easy! You can begin with a template, upload your design, or start with an empty paper-size form. Just drag and drop with ease to artboard attendee and ticket information (i.e., name, company, country, and – very importantly – a unique quick response (QR) code to identify attendees throughout your event). Event organizers can easily create assorted badge designs for different ticket types. For example, you can have various designs or badge colors for attendees, speakers, sponsors, and the organizer team, helping everyone quickly identify people in specific roles during the event.

Badge Printing

Badge printing

run.events enables event organizers to create stunning event badges regardless of the decision on which media type to print them later on.
Using the print shop, you can easily export finished badges from run.events, in either JPEG or PDF format. Sufficient to say that those badges can be single- or double-sided. Send exported badges to your favorite print shop, and it's done! If you have a professional badge-printing machine, no worries. You will print your badges directly from the run.events user interface. Similarly, if you utilize empty badge templates and a thermal printer to print stickers, just use run.events for direct printing. Of course, you can also utilize a combination of badge-printing methods: for example, print the majority of badges in a print shop and then use empty badges and a thermal printer to create badges for last-minute ticket purchases.

Event Team working

Global check-in and registration desk management

We all know the fever phenomenon during the first event day when the attendees start approaching the registration desk. The anticipation and the hope that everything will go smoothly dominate everyone’s minds. But no worries, run.events has capable methods to help this process run smoothly. Use the run.events mobile app to scan their ticket and hand out their badge if the attendee has a printed or digital ticket. In case event attendees come without tickets, utilize run.events to check if they have a valid ticket first, then directly print out their badge, scan it, and finish the check-in process. It is sufficient to say that our badge scanning is intelligent and provides you with various types of warnings if something is not right or suspicious (e.g. if someone tries to use the same ticket code multiple times or if an attendee has an incorrect ticket).

Entrance Scanning

Session check-in

Event organizers like to know which attendee has visited which sessions at the event or conference. run.events offers you two ways to gather these analytics. You can have people positioned at the entrance door to scan attendees who want to attend that session. This is useful when you need to know who was present at the session, but the drawback is that it slows down the entrance capacity into the session rooms creating bottlenecks. Alternatively, you can opt-in for self-check-in for sessions. In that case, you must display the room QR codes in front of the session rooms and ask attendees to use the run.events mobile app to check in for sessions. The advantage of this method is in much faster processing power (multiple attendees can be utilizing those QR codes at once), and it requires less personnel to support. This allows additional benefits for session check-in engagements, making them significantly more attractive for attendees by setting the option that only people who have checked into sessions can rate them.
