With run.events, set up your call for content with ease. Fine-tune what your speakers want to submit within their speaker profiles and individual sessions. Enter the start and end dates, customized submission forms, tailored content instructions, and welcome messages. Furthermore, you can define speaker acclamations and accreditations on their profile page, where sessions your speakers enter will end up in the 'Evaluation' bucket before your content selection officially begins.
run.events offers two ways of managing submitted event content: in a Kanban-style view where sessions can be rated and moved between the buckets conveniently, or in a classic table outline offering the same set of features. You can effortlessly set up your content team in run.events, and rate the whole content or its specific part. Once the content has been rated, the event content manager can easily select which information goes into the official program and inform speakers about their accepted and declined sessions.
Once the content has been selected, run.events offer event organizers an easy and intuitive way to put an agenda together. Drag and drop sessions from different buckets to the agenda builder, where all session rooms and time slots are displayed. You can have in-person rooms, online ones, or both, depending on your event type. A specialty of run.events is something we call 'non-content blocks': you can easily create and position catering, parties, and other extra-curricular activities within your agenda alongside your official program. run.events will warn you about illogical aspects in your agenda, such as when there are too many sessions of a similar type located in the same slot or when a speaker has too many back-to-back sessions.
Once the content selection has been completed, later on, event organizers have to deal with speaker communications and management. run.events make this task significantly easier by enabling speaker groups and classifications and tailoring speaker communications separately for each group. This way, sending the correct contacts to the right speakers is always easier.
It's up to event organizers to decide if attendees will be able to rate the sessions they attended. run.events offer multiple options in this regard. First and foremost, you can choose if you want to have session ratings at all. If you do, you can select if you want attendees to be able to rate all the sessions or just those they attended. This decision will depend on whether you use session check-ins and which kind you opt for. As an event organizer, you can decide what information to collect during the session feedback. Some organizers prefer simple star ratings, while others need complex feedback forms. run.events empower event organizers to build the feedback forms the way you need them for your event. Once your event finishes, you can analyze the feedback and optionally filter out the data with nothing to do with the event. Then you can decide whether to show your speakers that feedback or keep it to yourself.
